Given this list of shows, you would love The Wire. Also, anyone who tells you to watch House is an idiot. If you'd like, I could give you a quick run down of every episode of House ever:

Doctors: This patient has disease x.
House: No he doesn't. We have to give him a treatment that could kill him if I'm wrong, but will save his life if I'm right.
Doctors: You can't do that, House! You've gone too far!
House: Haha, I was right. I saved his life, but I'm still crippled.
Next week's preview: Next week, will House go too far? *Dramatic music*
