Default Taj breaking out the yellow and blue?

Played some 10/20 on Thursday at the Taj and the rack was full of yellow chips. There was also a few blues scattered about the room. Really odd to see chips at the Taj without worn off corners :0)

I heard they were trying to compete with the Borg for 40/80 and 80/160. Anyone know if they've started trying to run these limits?

I heard they are trying to get some of their players back but the bottom line is that the borgata is cleaner, the dealers are better, and its just a better place to play poker. I doubt any of the high limit regulars will go back to the Taj.

I like the Taj, but since I play mostly 40-80 and higher, I have cut my play there significantly. If they are able to spread a big game on a regular basis, I would give them more play. The thing is...when Taj does get a bigger hold em game (like 50-100 or 75-150), it tends to have absolutely great action. If they throw in some incentive (maybe weekend rooms at poker rate with no questions asked or hassle), I'd def try to hit them up. As of now, I only go there when I'm in a stud mood or my friends insist.

Anyone see any 40-80 or 80-160 at Taj this weekend?

It was probably 50-100 which is a great game when it runs. The problem is it only goes sporadically nowadays.

If they were using yellows and blues at 10-20, it was certainly half-assed. The optimal structure is a 2-chip small blind and 4-chip big blind; blues should be for 40-80 and yellows for 80-160.
