Default Calculate effective odds..

This was a hand that was just posted in the SS forum, but I borrowed it. I didn't want to hijack the thread in there.

What I'm hoping is that one of you guys will calculate the effective odds of calling this down. I did it and I just wanted to make sure I was doing it correctly.

Thanks.

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, K.
UTG raises, 3 folds, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG calls.

Flop: (10 SB) J, K, 8 (3 players)
SB bets, UTG calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (6.50 BB) J (3 players)
SB bets, UTG raises, Hero...

Well, with 2 opponents you can't be sure what it will cost to call down (it could be reraised) so you would have to make some assumptions.

Let's assume that SB just calls the turn raise and check-calls UTG's river bet:

Pot at time of turn raise - 9.5BB
Additional money SB puts in - 2BB
Additional money UTG puts in - 1BB
----------------------------------
Total amount you can win - 12.5BB

Cost to call down - 3BB

Effective odds: 12.5:3 or 4.17:1.
