Default hand for analysis

Just wanted to get some feedback on this hand.
It was played at Harvey's Lake Tahoe during the opening days of the wsop circuit event there this spring. It was a 3/5 NL table with a 500 max. Because of the circuit event most of the players were unknowns from out of town but I had been at the table for probably four hours at this point so at least had some feel for how most of them played. I had been playing relatively tight and I think most of the people at the table knew that. I had sat down with 350 but at the start of this hand had just over $600 behind.

I was in middle position with TT.
Players 1-4 fold and I raise to 20 (raises in the 20-25 range had been pretty standard).
It gets folded around to the big blind who min-raises to 40. Big Blind has me covered with around $800.

I just call with position on him.
Flop comes 555.

He checks, I think for a second and choose to bet out the pot. He just calls. Pot is now just over 250.

Turn is a 4. Big blind checks to me again.
I put in 200. Big blind quickly calls (just calls! - at this point alarm bells are going off in my head)

River is a T. Big Blind checks again. I try not to jump out of my seat as I realize how lucky I have just gotten.
I push my last 300 or so in.

Big blind says to me "Do you have a 5? If you don't have a 5 I'll call."
I respond "I don't have a five."
He hesitates, then calls, showing AA.

First, did I misplay this hand? (I started thinking so as soon as he called my 200 on the turn)

Secondly, how badly did he misplay his hand and should he have played it differently?

You're really overbetting the flop imo. When he flat calls, the only hand you're ahead of is AK. I check turn, and decide if I can fold the river. Turn you way overbet again.

u play this hand good if you had AA.

preflop is fine. Bet less on the flop, check it through. Or if you can't lay that hand down on the river, at least you'll pay less.
