Default Make any stoplight green

Or the ones with Optocoms, at least.

Less than $20 in parts

Plans & part list

Some cities have more complex systems requiring variable flash speeds and patterns and stuff, but it would still be fun to try.

This would only be useful if it turned the perpindicular stoplight red as well. Does it do that?

That's pretty much a necessity for this to be at all useful.

Everyone should bookmark this page in case they ever decide to plan some elaborate crime/bank heist.

A commercial version was selling for $300-400 for end users from authorized dealers. I found the DIY ones after reading this article.

I meant selling them on the street. Someone was trying to sell these legitimately? That has to be illegal.

The $300-$400 ones are only for people qualified to buy them. If you built these and sold them on the street, you could get much more for them, assuming you could get people who weren't worried about the inherent legal problems.
