You should have AIM'ed schneider and told him to 3 bet so you could cap.

[/ QUOTE ]

But first ask him if he has a K, Q or Ace. If he has a K or Q fold, if he has an Ace reraise.

I'd probably smoothcall and raise the river. Interested to see the results.

what is the numeric definition of 'haze'? does he need another 199,999 hands like this, or can he make a haze of 15/30 mediocrity in less time?

I'm going to hold off on the results for a while on the KQ hand to allow people some more time to discuss the nuances of the situation.

As for your comments, river raise is a great idea here. Reminds me of a hand I played this weekend. I managed to get a little poker in with Clarkmeister and Ed Miller this weekend. It was at Mandalay Bay and I was near incoherently drunk.

I ask the dealer what the maximum I can raise is pre-flop, he tells me, and I raise it that much. Some other guy, I think in a blind, 3-bets. I either re-raise or call, not sure. I'm guessing I 4-bet, he 5-bet, and I called.

Clark is sweating me and asks to see my cards. This has been very unlucky for me lately, so I tell him no. He insists, so I tell him he can look at one. He looks at one and seems very impressed.

Flop is something like Kc 2c 4s

Guy who liked his hand pre-flop bets, I raise, he 3-bets, I give him some respect and just call.

Turn is something like Kc 2c 4s 8h

Guy bets, I start to look at my cards. Clark asks me what the point is of looking at my cards, so I don't look and just call.

River is Kc 2c 4s 8h 4c

Guy bets out again. I think this is a very interesting card. If I have a 4, I just made trips. If I have two clubs, I just made a flush. And if I flopped a set, I now have a full house. I decide that is a lot of ways to win, so I raise the river. I really have a good feeling that I have a 4. My opponent calls immediately and flips over AK.

I flip over my cards and they are Jc7c for a flush! YES!!!!
