Here's an interesting hand that came up on party 15 today.

Game was 6 handed (a full ring game broke down). Im in the BB with K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Everyone folds to the SB who just limps for $5

I check and we see the flop.

Flop comes:

K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB checks, I bet, SB raises, I call.

Turn is:

5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB bets, I call.

River is:
4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB bets, I raise, SB calls.

Comments? I'll have results latter on in the day.

It would be nice to know more about the SB's check-raising history; I assume that if you had any relevant experience, you would have posted it.

Unless you think the flop check-raise signals a better king, I'm inclined to 3-bet the flop.

Don't get the river play at all. Is this a value raise? If so, what worse hands do you really expect to call? Seems like an easy spot to call the river, IMO.

I had played with the SB on many occasions before and knew he as capable of raising with much less than a K on the flop.
