I give Ian J too much credit.
First few minutes of the Stars 500k. I have had AK like 4 times already, but havent had to show it, and I have been raising preflop and C-betting like a mad man, so the table probably thinks im a little nuts.
I've played with Ian before, (hes a 2+2er for those who don't know.) and he's reaal good. Anyways, I pick up tens in middle position, raise to 60 with about 2500 behind. Ian pops it to 180 on the button, blinds fold. Flop is 569r I beleive, I could be wrong. I check, he bets 290, and I fold. He doesn't show. Thoughts? |

Re: I give Ian J too much credit.
I think I probably call the flop bet, planning on check folding if he makes another bet. He's gonna have to do more than fire a standard c-bet to get me to fold here given what he thinks of me.

Re: I give Ian J too much credit.
He clearly had 87s, nice laydown. But I agree with your assessment that you gave him too much credit. Tough spot though.
