Default Port Opening/Using Azureus/Bittorent (x post)

Hi,
I know very little about ports and networks. Here is the problem:

I am trying to use Bit Torrent/Azureus, and I get an error that I need to open port 6881. this is a new computer, and I have the following setup:

MCafee Personal Firewall
Lynksis Vonage Router
Belkin Wireless Router

Anybody know how I can ensure that all nec. Azureus ports are open on my PC/firewall/routers?

RTFM

Log in to the front end of your router(s) and unlock the ports.

Try finding it on the manufacturer's website?

You can puzzle it out by going to your firewall in Windows.

By the way, this is about a subject that can get the thread locked and/or you banned, I think. You might even want to delete it, and if you can't puzzle it out by looking at your firewall in Windows, go to a tech site instead.

Hasn't torrent discussion always been fine? Some torrents are perfectly legal you know.

I read a couple weeks ago that the very word was banned from 2+2 because of certain of the wrong kinds being made and passed around.
