Default marginal hand, raised on the turn.

Hadnt played many hands with villain although i had seen him autobet the turn when checked to with jack high. Useless read really.

How should i approach this turn?

that's really not a useless read. it may not exactly pertain to this specific hand, but it's a damn good thing to know in the future.

anyway, nice play in this hand. you could raise it preflop, especially with tight(er) players behind and in the blinds.

I think this line is okay. What you will typically see shown is something like J4s. He could also have flopped a set and wanted to bring everyone along for the turn. Rarely you will see a backed-into flush draw raise here, which is really the only hand you can actually beat.

I'm raising pf. Changes the hand considerably. Since you didn't, I play it the same way.
