New to poker, the forum and very thing else that comes with this lovely game I was wondering if my fellow poker players could please tell me what the money range is for each of the limits I.E. Micro, small Mid and high in limit and small, mid and high in no limit.

NoLimit.....You need 10 times the max buy in. In otherword have enough money to get busted 10 times. The max buy in for 1/2 NL game is $200 (at PokerStars). So I recommend having $2000. Some may considered this too conseervative but I have had days where I hit three sets on the flop only to lose to a higher set on the river.... This is just in one day!!....

Limit.......100 BB (big bets)...1/2 Limit have $200

Of course if your just learning, be prepared to make a few reloads into your account until you learn more of the nuances of the game.......
