Default NL / PL Holdem Books

Hello from a cool Edinburgh fellow poker players.

I play low stakes no-limit online tournaments & low stakes online ring games (holdem), I show a small profit but not much.

At a local casino, I play in a multi-table pot limit holdem tournament. I got lucky when I first started and won, because of this I show a profit. That hides the fact that I dont do well in this game.

Until recently, the only book I had read was "The theory of poker".

I'm in the middle of "tournament poker for advanced players" and have picked up a lot to iron out some of the flaws in my game.

However, reading that book has made me realise that my big problem is that I just dont play NL/PL holdem well enough.

Suggested titles:

1. To help me improve my PL/NL holdem
2. To help me win more money online

Many thanks.

Chris

I'm pretty sure he asked for books that would help his play, not hinder it.

Start with the Cloutier/McEvoy book. While it may not be "The Bible" as it claims to be, it does a decent job as as an overview to both games.

Read that and then move on to Ciaffone's book.

Start with Super System then worry about the other books.
" Super System " IS the Bible by the Great One ... Doyle Brunson. Plus you'll get some very good info on the " other" Poker games.
