interested in a career in corporate services/finance

So I graduated with a major in biology intending to apply to medical school this upcoming spring; however, I am wondering if this is actually the right fit for me. I'm interested in getting into corporate services such as i-banking,trading etc. How does someone from my background without any finance experience land a job in Wall Street? I know some of you think I'm crazy, but just trying to find out more about the field from people who are there.

Getting an MBA would help.

Or try getting an internship at an i-bank. They might be hard to get without a business background - you might have to work for free. A connection at an i-bank would help too.

I work for a major investment bank and always a fair number of intake do not have maths/economics type backgrounds.

If you already graduated and cant go through on campus recruiting. Then I think your best chance would probably be to try and set up informational interviews with alumni. The market is really good right now, but without any connections this is probably the best way without going through on campus recruiting.

nice thanks for the advice. also I believe getting interviews would be hard for me since my academic background is not stellar compared to other ibankers (who have 3.8 GPAs and above). My college friends from Wharton are just working entry level positions so I am not sure how much influence they have as of now. I just feel a bit discouraged without experience and a background compared to other applicants. But I will do what I can. Thanks for your guys' input.
