NL100 Shortlanded: KK Line Check
I'm playing pretty solid and stacked one guy with my KK earlier against TPTK. Hero has 150 and villain covers. Reads on villain are that he is a very weird, unpredictable player. Most likely a fish but still unsure.
Dealt red KK. Villain limps, I make it 4 to go from CO, BB calls, Villain calls. Flop comes 7-6-2 rainbow (Pot = 11.80) I lead for 8, BB folds. villain thinks and calls. Turn Q diamonds (2 diamonds) (Pot = 27.80) Villain leads for 12 (???). I call. River 7 (suit unimportant). (Pot = 51.80) Villain checks, I bet 1/2 pot. I'm not sure what to do on the turn here. I'm pretty sure I'm ahead but I'd like to see the river before putting any more money in. Should I be raising this turn? |

Re: NL100 Shortlanded: KK Line Check
You're probably either WA/WB on the turn, so I like just calling. The 2-flush is slightly worrying, but villain called the flop, so he most likely has a pair or AK/AQ and is keeping you honest.

I'd raise this turn lead, I think it looks to much like a pair and flushdraw trying to price himself in.

Bet some more on the flop, rest looks nice.

Re: NL100 Shortlanded: KK Line Check
raise the turn I think...he's pricing in his flush draw...or he has a Q...either way he's calling the raise.

Re: NL100 Shortlanded: KK Line Check
Raise that turn, that way you might get a cheaper showdown if a scare card hits. If he re-raises you can toss it. If you are worried about pot control, check down the river, though I like your half-pot bet. You are ahead here most of the time so get some money in the pot.
