1) might be able to help more if you tell us what the pre flop action was like, maybe then we can get more of a sense of what his hand is.

raised to 8 ehh. hmm would the firstToAct be likely to call 8BB with QJ, i guess you have no reads.

I think it is a fairly safe to fold TPTK to a monster bet on this kind of board. You could be looking at a set of TT?

Dammit, I lost my response and I don't want to type it all out again.

Short version:

The bettor may or may not have you beat. The cold-caller after you outchips you and also may or may not have you beat. You have top pair with lots of draws out. You should strongly think about folding in the absence of information that suggests otherwise.

I've never seen anyone do this with a strong hand like trips, straight, two pair, so I wouldn't be afraid of that - if they did have something like that, why not check raise, or if they're baiting you, why not bet smaller?. If I were you, I'd push in.

That's why I pointed out that he didn't seem to want any callers. However, you have to consider the possibility of two pair or better not wanting to let the flush draw hit.

Hey SpaceAce,

These were my thoughts exactly!!!

Villian just sat down, and I have no info on him.

Whats your play here...Allin or fold?

Hi, WalleyeJason,
I hate to sound so weak, but I think I fold this. I lean even more toward folding considering we don't know what the person to your right did and we have no idea what the button is going to do behind you.

Without having any other reads, I would put this guy on 2 pair or trips, and the big bet's purpose being to drive out any flush or straight draws.
