Default mistake to raise this pot?

Just played this hand, and wondering if my postflop raise was a bad idea given the monster hand I had. I pulled the trigger here thinking I had tons of pot equity at this point and could catch each player for another small bet. Could I have made more by smooth calling and reraising another BIG bet on the turn? Please comment.....

I think it's good. UTG+1 is a rare player who put down his hand for one more bet. Nice hand.

UTG+1 has a crappy busted flush draw. If the heart had hit, you would have owned him.

Yes, I know my equity was through the roof, I guess my doubt arises from the fact that by raising up, I give away the strength of my hand early, whereas waiting till the turn (and the big bet round), I could make more $$ on the raise/reraise. I guess that was my specific question.

That is result-oriented thinking. You should play TPTK very fast. If your flush doesn't hit, you might be up against some dude slowplaying a set or something. Slowplaying TP with a flush draw is a very bad idea, IMO.

Regards.
