first off there's no 4k-8k game at the wynns so in order for people to respect daniel as a top notch poker player in the long run (something he highly value as it seems)...he ethier has to crush the tournament tour constantly (highly unlikely) or succeed in the biggest game in world which 500k HU is pretty close to...otherwise he'll just go in the direction of a phil hellmuth...great player but not really a contender for one the best ever which i'm pretty sure daniel would love to be known as.

People just love to see the negative in everything. The guy showed a great attitude in basically all his posts about his run, he talked about the great run he had last year and that he realizes it wouldn't last forever, he doesn't seem bitter about the way things have gone recently (like 90% of us do), overall I think it's a nice example for us poker players.

PS: DN and BG don't get along, that's a fact, you won't hear any of them saying the other is clearly better at any game, just give it a rest.

Lost to Joe Cassidy and David Oppenheim at limit hold'em for 200k a pop, beat Mimi Tran at limit hold'em for 500k, lost two matches to Greenstein at 500k each.

Currently down $900,000.
