Default Should i have re-raised with QQ?

hey there

just finished a tourney have this one hand that was bugging me, wonder if the situation was the same would or should i play it differently!

ok Party $30 buy-in 900 players down to 180 blinds 150/300 top 100 get paid

EP limps (has stack of 3000), fold, fold, fold, MP raises to 1500 (has stack of 5500), fold, Hero has QQ (has stack of 7000)

what should i do fold, call or raise (if raise should i go all-in)?

reads on EP = nothing just moved to table
reads on MP = decent enough player quite tight pfr% of 8% aggression factor of 1.38

thanks for any replies

if you raise you need to push. and imo, you need to raise.

At this point in the tourny with stack sizes where they are, this looks like an easy push. You're fairly certain to get called where there are only 2 hands that are ahead of you. If you got cold decked against AA/KK's so be it, but this is a great opportunity to almost dbl up and make some noise in the tourny.

I say you either call or re-raise. If you go all in, however, you may find yourself at the mercy of Ace-Ace or King-King.

If you re-raise him the minimun and he only calls, he may have a "weaker" hand like Ace King or Jack-Jack (hiding and KK or AA). If re-raise you, he may have the AA or KK.

I don't like this line at all. You're not going to fold to a re-raise after min-raising because of the pot odds you'd be getting to call so just push to start off with. I also much prefer pushing to a call with QQ and these stack sizes and way out of the money.

thanks for the replies guys

i did infact push and the mp raiser called me with KK and the EP limper won the pot with AA. I was pretty sure that the way i played it was good but just lucked out. Afterwards i doubted the raise and maybe thought that i should have folded so as to survive longer in the tourney that is why i posted to see if others would have pushed which most said they would so im ok with myself and my play.

thanks again
