Mid-Tourney Problem
Almost all of the tournaments I play, I build myself a decent stack and then piss it away somehow in the middle...this one hand is the most recent:
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (10 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter MP2 (t5795) MP3 (t2074) CO (t1820) Button (t605) Hero (t3582) BB (t2067) UTG (t2960) UTG+1 (t1105) UTG+2 (t1307) MP1 (t2650) Preflop: Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 5 folds, MP3 calls t150, 2 folds, Hero completes, BB checks. Flop: (t450) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, BB checks, MP3 bets t150, Hero raises to t600, BB folds, Hero calls t1324. Turn: (t2524) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) River: (t2524) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Final Pot: t2524 I'll post the results in a bit, but is the flop cr a standard play? Also, while I'm getting the odds for the draw, its obvious I'm behind. Is it better to not risk my chips and wait for a spot where I will be ahead? |

Re: Mid-Tourney Problem
Sorry you lost to pocket sixes.
I do like the c/r on the flop (since you have gotten that far - I'm tight but I probably would've folded this pre-flop), and at this point, I'm resigned to calling that push, too. I have a feeling that 2 on the Turn didn't help you at all, though. |
