what about "I'm bringing 15k with me" brought you to the direct conclusion that his bankroll is 15k? You really are looking like more of an ass with each reply.

I, personally, don't carry hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash when I go to a casino. I dunno, it just feels weird. Usually 15k is plenty to jump into a few 5-10 or 10-25 games, seeing as how I usually win. But I guess you must carry 15k as your bankroll, in order to be able to play the MGM 1/2. I can recommend some poker coaches, if you'd like...

Ok, this is my last reply because I really don't give a damn about this anyway.

Well it might have something to do with the fact that he said he was coming to Vegas to play poker apparently and he was bringing 15K. Now being that I live here, maybe I am confused, but if you come to Vegas from out of town, you bring your bankroll.

No idea where you are going with this rambling. I never said anything about buying into a game for 15K. Why would I bring 15K to play the 1/2nl at MGM when the cap is $200? Who is really sounding like the ass here?

After reading the OP, I was simply curious as to why a 21 year old student who has 15K to bring to Vegas to play high stakes poker, needs to ask this forum where he should play. Seems to me someone of this status and wealth would have a clue already.

lollerskates. sorry i should have clarified. i was alluding to you being a bad poker player and likely losing 75 buyins in a 200 buyin game. it's a literary device some people like to employ for humor. it's called sarcasm.

It is not a good idea for anyone , no matter the age to bring $15,000 to vegas on their first trip. Bring $2,000, have fun with your friends and scope out the terriory for your next trip.

He is a winning mid/high stakes online player. He is likely bringing less than 10% of his bankroll. Not too mention it is unlikely he is going "blow" what he brings... afterall the ratio of donks to players is higher.

Your post wasn't funny, not in the least. If you have to explain to someone that you were trying to be funny, you weren't.

Also, how would you have any clue as to my playing abilities? You know nothing about me. I also know nothing about the OP, BUT, I was not taking a shot at his playing ability. Only his apparent lack of judgement to come to Vegas for the first time as a 21 year old kid with 15K in his pocket. But, then again, what do I know, I only live and work in this business and see young, know it all, jag-offs who really don't have a clue lose their ass on a daily basis.

But I am sure this guy who has never played live casino poker will own the rooms because he "is a winning mid-high limit online player".

Can you not comprehend that Chaos is a winning high-stakes online player to whom 15K is not a large sum of money? How about the concept of large NL B+M games existing outside Vegas?

Its really too bad that you were lying when you said you weren't going to respond again.
