Default $20/40 at Greektown Casino, 3-bet the river?

I don't know if this post belongs here, but i'll post it here anyways since I'm guessing a few of you are familar with limit Omaha. The game is $20/40 round-by-round live at Greektown Casino. I hold Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Anyways, I was in early position, and the flop came:

Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

I lead, MP calls, button raises, I call, MP calls.

The turn is a blank. I lead again, MP calls, button raises, I call again and MP calls. Same action as the flop. The river is another blank. I lead again, MP folds, button raises again.

Now i'm wondering what the hell he possibly could be raising. I thought I clearly represented pretty much the nut boat since I kept leading into him after he kept raising, epsecially on that board. I would normally 3-bet the river with no hesitation, but this time I decided to just call.

He flips over Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. River play anyone?

No one here plays round-by-round? I'd have to say 70% of the mid-high stakes games are half Omaha half hold'em, maybe it's a regional thing? (I live in Michigan).

look at the flop.

look at what beats you.

look how many people are staying in.

They both are holding a 4.

RAISE THE RIVA!!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Only thing was is most people in this game would not even raise the turn with trip 4's let alone raise on all streets to someone that is representing the nuts. Bad read on my part.
