So is a winner at $10/20 6-max not good enough to be a winner at $20/40 full?

[/ QUOTE ]
Full-ring players need certain skills that are not very important shorthanded.

Therefore the obvious answer to your question is "it depends".

I'm at a similar path as you. ive played 5/10 85k and 10k of 10/20 and have a bankroll close to yours. and i dont think that you should move up. You have been a 1bb/100 winner (like me) and have had a good month on the new level (same here) but i think you can take some more time at the 10/20 cos if you've only played a month of 10/20 then i'm not sure how much you are looking forward to the swings at 20/40, i don't. But it depends how much gambler you are, for me i'm waiting a 100k hands on 10/20 before i will move up. But probebly you will improve your game faster if you face togher opponents quicker

Yeah, most of this is speculation partially due to the sudden disappearance of rakeback from the Party skins, as I am sure many of you are shocked by the news. I'm pretty sure i'll stay at $10/20 6-max for now, as i'm sure the game will still be great despite the restructuring at Party. What's good news also is I hear Party is in negotiation with several large affiliates to possibly introduce a smaller rakeback program on their new site. I've done some thinking and still realize how good things still are especially since i'm still a college student. Just turned out to be a bad day with my school's football season ruined even further (Michigan Wolverines) and the dissapearance of rakeback all in one day hehe.
