Default Question about Party Scratch Cards--Do They Expire?

A friend of mine played the required points, but it said he had to take advantage of it by 11:00am Eastern. I haven't seen anyone say anything about that here, so I was wondering what the deal was. It could be true, but it doesn't sound right.

Oh, and when does this promotion expire?

Thanks.

That’s what you’re about to experience at PartyPoker.com between December 23, 2005, 11:00 (ET) and January 1, 2006, 23:59 (ET) - Our new $1.5 MILLION Scratchcard promotion where we are giving away up to $150,000 worth of great prizes A DAY!

...

Well, once you've earned 40 regular Party Points in a day, you will be eligible for a FREE Scratchcard on the following calendar day after 11.00 am (ET) which will reveal a prize!

For example, players who earn 40 regular Party Points on December 23, 2005 will be eligible for a Scratchcard on December 24, 2005 after 11.00 am (ET)*

...

Only one scratchcard per day can be won. Winning a scratch card does not guarantee a prize. Cards must be scratched between 11:00 am (ET) on the day of eligibility and 11:00 am (ET) the next calendar day otherwise it will expire.
