Default Which OOTers would you like to spend an evening at a bar with?

Hmmm, there's quite a lot for me actually - it would kick ass I reckon - but being in a remote part of the UK, I guess I never will

Off the top of my head:

mslif
jake
WhackityWhiz
steelcmg
swede
katyseagull
bison
blarg
and controverially, ThinMan

I'm sure there's many others, if I had the inclination to peruse the forum a bit.

Leicester. It feels bloody remote, as I was raised in London.

It's hard to think of anywhere in the UK being remote. How long would it take to walk across the island?

I should go to Denver. Patrick, mslif, lucas9000m are all there. Also I'd like to meet IndieMatty, Shajen, a few others. And of course everyone wants to meet El Diablo.

Spent a week in Leicester a few years ago at Alliance and Leicster on the outskirts of town theres a reasonable golf course not far away that I played a couple of nights.

I think the local casino has just started running tournaments as well, Leicster seems to be one of those towns that not much happens at ie no gigs or anything like that.

THeres a lot of Islands round scotland that are remote some small a mile or so long prob with the odd farmhouse some of the bigger ones have a few thousand population.

There are remote places in the UK (you might only be 40 or 50 miles form a big town) there are some big moorland areas and other places out of the way. Obviously not to the same scale as in parts of the US.

I think some americans think the uK is really small and eveyone knows everywhere, worked with a girl who had lived in the UK for a while and she was shocked when I hadnt been to places 300 miles from home that she thought was round the corner.
