[/ QUOTE ] In this situation, where 2BB is an average stack, and if the Button had him covered, I would see a minraise as weakness, as this leaves him an average stack if he was reraised all in and had to fold. Considering that everyone seems so keen to move up rather than play for 1st- putting all your chips when you dont have to would signify real strength to me, and conversely, leaving some behind when they would be at risk would appear weak.
