I watched a cracker last night while at a table in a MTT satellite. I folded preflop so got to watch and "learn" what the value bet's all about........

3 players in pot UTG+1 raised pot (3.5 BB's or so) and got 2 callers. Flop JT8 with 2 clubs. UTG+1 bets 2/3 pot and gets 2 callers - ok I'm starting to put them on draws, tpgk etc etc. Turn is 7o. UTG+1 bets 2/3 pot and gets 2 callers (someone is slow playing....).

River is a 3rd club (from recall like a 4c) so by now all 3 could have got there with their hands.........UTG+1 bets full pot this time and gets 2 callers (wow I'm interested to see this)

Shows the J6o and the other two muck.........I nearly time out the next hand from falling of my seat wetting my pants - fabulous

Yesterday I pushed with AQ, no pairs, no draws when a T paired on the turn. I knew he didn't have a ten, and I thought he probably had a draw. (Two flush draws on board and T7x). But, well, I went with my instinct and pushed. He called with 98 and I lost. I don't know if should be happy or not with that.

How can you fold when your gutshot hits bottom pair on the turn?

Of course not, I was just trying to guess something remotely plausible...
