Has the Party rake always been capped at $2 for 6 max?
One of the many thing that makes me a pretty half ass poker player is my level of observation. I took a break from 6 max for sports betting, but I thought the max rake used to be $3. Is that right, or was I thinking of crypto and party ring games?

No, I think long ago it was $3. They also used to get the button right (to the SB) for HU play, but then they changed it to the wrong way.

Also, rake gets capped for HU at $1. I didn't realize this until yesterday, but someone else told me it's been like that for a while.

Yeah, looking at my 5-10 database from Party's $2 rake structure and the crypto sites I play, you save a about $56 every 1000 hands playing the $2 structure. Not bad.
For the heads up... Why is everyone complaining about the rake killing you HU if it's capped at $1? Is there an even better way to do it, with the progressions up to $1? I don't get it. |
