Default I suck at math (part 2)

1. Ok, if I'm playing 10+.50 HU SNG's, and my winrate is 60%, how much profit am I making after 10 SNG's?

2. How much $$$ am I expected to make per SNG?

60% of the time you win $20. 40% of the time you end up with nothing. Your expectation is then .6($20) + .4($0) = $12. But $10.50 of this was yours in the first place, so your average profit is $1.50/tournament.

Alternately, 60% of the time you will gain $9.50, and 40% of the time you will lose $10.50, so your EV is 0.6($9.50) - .4($10.50) = $5.70 - $4.20 = $1.50.

After 10 SNGs u make $15. For 10 SNGS you spend $105(10*10 + the juice of $5). You win 6 of them =6*20. So its 120-105=$15. This is $1.5 per game.

Later,

The expected value calc by Borodog is off because you dont win $20 when u win a match. You must factor in the juice.
