I would like money but not fame, lots of free time, and youth, otherwise pretty good as is.

I would love to be me, right now. But 11 years old. IE., I wish I knew everything I know now, but Im still young, and can re-experience everything I have done, but expertly. By the time I was 25 I would own the world.

Wasn't really what the thread was looking for, but I like this. The idea of a redo is appealing to me, mostly because I have issues dealing with mortality and forgetting my past.

i would want to own amazing, breakeven businesses.

restaurants, car washes, you name it. anything where i went someplace and it wasn't great, or wanted to go someplace and realized it didn't exist. i'd love to be able to afford to dump whatever money was made into improving the place and paying my employees more, just making it a place that everybody from the workers to the customers totally loved.

This is probably my #1 idle fantasy. King of the Fourth Grade - that's the life for me. All the time in the world to pursue desires actually worth pursuing.

I like this answer a lot. I've had similar inclinations before.

I'm going to cop out a bit and say I don't think there is one ideal life for me. It's a big world, and there's a lot of [censored] out there that seems worth doing. So it's hard for me to project too far afield of where I seem to be going right now. I'll just say what my goals are, in no particular order: not having to worry about money, putting together a solid family, doing some good science and being respected in my field, maybe doing some writing at some point. Boring, cliched stuff, obviously, but that's what I've got at the moment.
