To bet or not to bet flopped trips in a multiple raised pot
Hero is in the big blind with 44. Preflop raiser on the left, two callers, and then the button makes it 3 to go. All call - 15 small bets.
Flop comes down rainbow Q64, giving our hero a set. Even though there are likely no draws to fear, I believe you should try and win this large pot immediately. What is the best way to protect the set? Is the correct play to lead out with a bet, or is it to check-raise the reraiser and isolate him? |

Re: To bet or not to bet flopped trips in a multiple raised pot
Dude, protect a set on a rainbow Q64 flop? Cmon now.
Bet out, hope the first raiser doesn't raise, hope the limpers call, hope the preflop 3-better raises all those calls, and keep betting and raising from there. |
