No Intertops account for New Jersey?

I tried to sign up for intertops today and after I typed in all my info I got a message saying that Intertops doesnt allow accounts with players from New Jersey? They also said that my zip code and city didnt match, which was not true but I guess that would matter much due to there anti NJ policy.

Does this make any sense at all. Why wouldnt they allow players from New Jersey?

Online gambling is specifically against the law in NJ as of late last year or early this year.

The stated legislative purpose for the law is to protect people from gambling. The actual purpose is to protect the casinos and the state's tax income from them.

This is ridiculous reasoning by them(of course most laws come about from ridiculous reasons), I have been to the casino much more since playing online poker than I ever have before playing online.(I don't live in new Jersey)

Ive had the same problem, just make up an address outside of NJ.....

what scares me is if they decide to start freezing accounts that are in NJ.
