Betting Baseball Using Simulators

In "Gambling For A Living" our favorite theorists make a brief reference to using simulators to bet baseball. Does anybody here do this? What kind of software, etc.? What's the method?

I'm an avid Strat-o-matic player, so this really peaks my interest.
