Default Bubble Play help

I really need some help on my bubble play. Lately I dont know if its been a bad run of cards or just bad bubble play. I make the final 5 in almost every tourney I play and seem to run into a lot of difficult decisions. But lately I have only placed in 3 out of my last 15 tournies. Way out of the normal for me. I have had a LARGE amount of bad beats and I will not go into those hands. But my question is when I am down to 4 or 5 and I have a hand like AQ or AK and have lets say 6x BB do I push or make the normal 3x BB raise and see what develops after the flop. Normally I just push preflop with AK-A10 and any pair when on the bubble when I have < 8x BB. Is this correct? I am in with the best hand probably 90% of the time when on the bubble and just cant seem to get even 2 or 3 hands in a row won when I am ahead. Is this just variance or Is my play PF flawed thats leading to these "bad beats"?

Default Re: Bubble Play help

There are no cut-and-dried rules.

Read the posts on this forum (search for "bubble") and post specific hands for feedback, in the nice hand converter format.
