The way its worded and formatted it looks like hero is UTG and seat 2 is BB.
i.e. "I need to clear both the tall stacks in order to steal succesfully." Also the betting usually goes downward in the list of players. Or maybe I'm just an idiot, which is a distinct possiblity.

This is why I said a personal choice, however just because you would lean one wayy does not mean he will. There are many players out there who want Wins only, so just scraping into the money does them no good. I aim to make money however I can, but I can't fault anyone who thinks differently.
