Best Price on Aeron Chair?
Anyone know where I can get a good deal on one of these other than ebay? Isn't there some start-up company somewhere I can pilfer?
Also, anyone have one of these and know if the "extra" adjustments offered on the "top of the line" models are worthwhile (like forward tilt, adjustable arms, etc). Thanks, Eric * Edit/MH: You can read about ebaudry's decision in his next post, here, but please keep any further relevant comments in this first thread. Thanks. |

Pay attention to the model number as they make more than one chair and price varies.

Re: Best Price on Aeron Chair?
Depends on what you consider worth it. It allows me to log in long sessions without much back pain. I also put my feet up on an ottoman so it is very comfortable.

[/ QUOTE ] im a younger kid and i dont really have back problems. (yet...?). so being better for ergonomics/long term health and comfort is what im looking for. for 600 I would definitely buy it if it were worth it, but only if I know its worth it before I buy it. |

[ QUOTE ] are they worth it? [/ QUOTE ] It's a little piece of heaven, and my ass touches it everyday. [/ QUOTE ] Agree. The chair isn't going to work miracles or anything, but after you own it for a while I think you start to take it for granted a little bit. The fact that you can adjust the recline, height, tension, etc. so easily makes it very versatile. So if you can afford it, go ahead and buy it. I mean no one "needs" a 2001FP, so you wouldn't "need" this chair but it's worth the money. Keep in mind that it retails for around $1000 too, so for $600 it is a decent value. |
