Two AA hands
These hands occured back to back and let me say, I was not too happy about it. Losing AA back to back is like dropping 50BB in a 15 min period. You can hardly contain yourself but gladly, I did not go on tilt and just sat out the next few hands.
This table was sooooo tight. I stole the blinds at least 3 times each orbit and they weren't doing anything to defend themselves. So I figured when I got a monster and they finally realized I was stealing their blinds at every oppurtunity I would get paid off immensly. And yes I got a monster, back to back hands and I paid THEM off. Is there any other way to play these hands? Re: Two AA hands
I'm not sure I would play anything differently, except the second hand river. 4 to a straight on a board with someone who obviously seems to care about it. I would check/call or check/fold this river. You almost certainly are beat here the vast majority of the time, and betting is just throwing your money away.

Re: Two AA hands
Hand 1 sucks. But I'm playing this one to showdown too.
You're spewing chips on the river. You can't call this raise, if you want, you can check/call, but do not check/fold. There are still hands that you are ahead of on the river. |
