Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone here has ever played on the tables at Star City. I'm thinking of playing there soon, and I'm wondering what stakes they offer, what the games are like, the rake structure, and in general whether or not it's a decent live experience.

I've never played live before (I'm one of those damn internet babies) but I'd like to give it a try. I plan on heading down there and asking some questions myself before jumping into a game, but I'm interested to hear about peoples experiences here too. I'm hoping there are a few aussies about.

I was there last year. The rake is horrible. If I remember right, they charge each player 50 cents per hand. I think they had 5/10 limit. Who knows what has changed since then.

I was there last year on vacation. Didnt play poker though...their blackjack blows.....
