To return this thread to its original message somewhat:
If it werent for online poker I'd very likely never have played poker at all. I'm just not the sort of person willing to plunk a couple hundred dollars down to experiment with a new game. It's only because I could play for quarters on the internet, and win enough to gradually get comfortable with gaining and losing a hundred dollars a day regularly, that I got up the nerve to try a live casino game. |

The closest casino is about a 3hrs drive away and doesnt have Hold'em so i'd probably be out of a game =/
