Concerning late game strategy
I'm sure this has been discussed here before, but here's the scenario...
Blinds are 250/500 2 people left You are in the SB Chip stacks are relatively even Now my question... If you are going to play your hand, is there any reason at all not to push? |

Re: Concerning late game strategy
yes ... to see a flop and decide if you want to put your chips in then ... if you push and you lose you're out, but if you raise and get met with a lot of resistance, you still have plenty of ammo to win the HU battle

Re: Concerning late game strategy
I definitely call sometimes from the SB here. I don't think its a push or fold situatiuon at all in the 1000 chip games. In the 800 chip games it's a lot tougher to call preflop, although against a weak predictable opponent I might call with very weak hands and bet any flop. |
