I like this idea a lot. It would be a special promotion every month for the 1000 people who played the most hands that the subsequent month 1000 tables would be named after them - even better still if their table fell into the limits they played at the most.

I was also thinking on those lines seeing that they seem to be rather poor when they can't name their own tables. Your idea is similar to a joke where the name of the hotel came from whatever the first person said who stepped in, and they used the same method for their son's name. The name of the hotel became an "Ass," and the name of the boy a "Hole." So, what if the person on the leader board is the one who is named as "KissMyAAs."
