Default When to apply odds to turn or river - limit holdem?

Can anyone explain in what flop situations in Limit Holdem that you would use odds to the turn or river?

Basically i'm looking at pot equity verses pot share. If i'm using odds to the turn or river rather than looking at one street at a time then the hands that I'll raise with greatly increase.

Read "Getting Started in Hold'Em" and then read "Small Stakes Hold'Em: Winning Big with Expert Play". Both books are by Ed Miller and can be ordered from this site. They explain the ideas very clearly and contain a ton of other great stuff.
