I would also put him on 99-JJ or busted flush draw. I fire that value bet in case it is the former case.

Any pair 77+ looks you up here. If we bet and villain c/r us, it could be with a missed draw, so it makes folding to a c/r really iffy. What kind of villain do we have here. Against a passive calling station this is an easy bet. Against a tricky player or TAG this is an easy check behind.
