What is better; % or one time payment?

I am starting a site for an affiliate program. All you experienced affiliaters, what has worked out better, getting a percentage of the rake or getting the one time payment. Also, does anyone have experience with the bodog affiliate program? Thanks

In the long run, if you are actually getting players and not just signups looking for a bonus, there is no question that you will come out way ahead under a percentage plan.
