Isn't the extreme overbet push essentially always a made hand at this level?

no.. ive seem extreeeeeeeeeemely donkish overbets at 50NL..

honestly, there is this guy on my buddylist who i follow around table to tabling watching him do [censored] like this.

in about 100 hands he's lost well over $300.

if he hit his boat, gg, nh.

First of all, open-limping A9s, even at 6-max is bad. Raise or fold, and I usually fold.

Given your weak turn check, you have to call and hope for A2-8, but don't expect to be good very often. I think that 3-betting the flop to $12 would have made this hand play much more easily.

EDIT: I didn't realize that villain was the PFR. This is an easy fold on the flop.

I folded, he didn't show, I felt like I should have called if only cause I played the rest of the hand like such a monkey

So you're saying that you should make a loose call because you made mistakes on earlier streets? That's pretty bad logic.
