Trouble instore for new Neteller applicants?

I finally opened a Neteller account. When I tried to log in
I got an error message. Their CS told me they could not
verify the last four digits of my SS#. So they sent me an
e-mail saying I had to go to the SS office and get
a third party verification form. This form also had to
be stamped and then faxed back to Neteller.

Little did I know that my troubles had just begun! First
I find that there's no SS office in my town,so I get to make an 80 mile round trip. Then I'm greeted by a federal
officer who wants to know if I have any guns,knifes or chem
spray! He wasn't amused when I told him I wasn't even
wearing underwear. To top it all off 2 1/2 hours later they
tell me they don't have these forms and don't stamp forms!
I finally talked them into giving me a form that said
my SS# is correct and that it belongs to the right person.

After faxing this to neteller I was told that this is no
good without a stamp! I finally talked to a superviser
and told her that the SS people would would not stamp anything plus they were also very concerned that Neteller
is requsting SS numbers! Before I talked to the Neteller
people I noticed at least one post on 2+2 and several
more on other boards that had the same exact problem
that I have! I told the superviser about these other
posts and that this may not be just an isolated problem.
Supposedly she is going to talk to a department manager
and see if they can work something out. I guess I can
only cross my fingers and hope!

Anybody else gone thru this?
