Default [poll] would you call your whole stack off here ?

Yes or NO. You have A J and raise. Villain is 33/5 .

He is the only caller and you both see a flop of :

A J 5

You have $25. You bet the pot. He minimum raises you.

Would you have a problem putting all your chips in here or no ?

This would clearly be a tough decision, but the villian is pretty loose and very agressive. This tells me he often tries to push without the best hand. It's $25NL, so a re-raise here with AK, A5, QK, KK, QQ, etc. is not unreasonable to expect. Even if he hit his set, I still have a weak draw to a boat that will take it a small % of the time, maybe even a backdoor flush is possible.

The 33/5 is the factor that makes me play this one, grudgingly. Were he tighter, clear fold. Were he more passive, clear fold. Were he looser, I would go all-in in a New York minute. I hate this hand, and I didn't even play it

BTW - I don't know what to make of the min re-raise. I'd love to know what he was thinking there.

Yeah but the odds of him hitting a set when you have two pair are pretty large. Meaning, I think it's probably like 50 to 1 at least to do that because you hold two of the flop.

I'd push here, here but you have to wonder what hands are going to call an all-in here. Maybe a passively played AK. Other than that, he doesn't have AA because he would've reraised preflop. I'd sort of expect the same thing with AK. So the only hands that he's going to love are AJ/JJ/55. You raised to $1, pot is $2.25 on flop (minus rake I think), you bet $2.25, he comes over you for $4.50, now I raise to $10, and if he pushes or calls I'm out. Unless he's a real loose player (VPIP >40/AF really big), there's just nothing there for you to play with. It's a fold, and you only lost $11 bucks, not bad seeing that you really could've lost it all.

This is one of the few times I think a min-raise back is appropriate because you are obviously showing strength, and a raise to $15 is close to committing you. Plus he's going to play the same if you raise to $10 or $15, so bet the least you can to make your point.

What are the odds of him hitting a set when you have two pair ? I would say about the same as set over set since they both involve the two cards in your hand. Anyone know ?
