Common situation for me, need help.
10 handed 3/6 game, and a reasonable player, (not an idiot, nor overly tight) raises, and it is folded to you with AQo.
How many call, raise, or fold? If you call or raise, and the flop is all undercards ( T75) and he bets into you, what is your line? Thanks for all of your responses. |

[/ QUOTE ] This is important, if he is a decent good player where did he raise from? Where exactly are you? Who is behind you? If he raised from EP I fold. If he is in late middle position or late position I reraise. |

Re: Common situation for me, need help.
It really depends on his range of hands. If hes willing to raise light, its close.
I usually toss AQo against a tight raiser that plays the game well. AQs I probably call, and if the flop is nothing than bail. Usually in this situation against a better EP raiser u will either be behind or tied most of the time, but almost never ahead. So AQo is muck material. AQs could be a different story. Against a stronger player I have no problem tossing it. But if hes just solid preflop and thats it, I dont mind a call. |

Fold on both counts. [/ QUOTE ] I think this is bad. A range of hands must be thought about and evaluations must be based on that. I would say a lot of the it may be correct to fold like you say but the OP did not give enough information for this to be a fold all the time in both places. |

Re: Common situation for me, need help.
I was speaking in generalities, which makes it hard to chose a line, but I think I have been spewing with AQ, and now it will stop.

Re: Common situation for me, need help.
And this is correct as well. I tried to convey it in my post. There are a lot of what ifs. Say u have a solid EP raiser, but 4 cold callers in between. I will call with AQs in this situation.
Heads up, I will probably fold it. U are ahead of almost nothing hes raising. Say u know he only opens with AA-JJ, Ak and AQ. U are always behind, and a very small part of the time u are tied. Situation changes if hes raising in MP or LP. |
