Classifications
I've been pondering this for some time, but I really haven't seen any definitions on what are these classifications.
By that, I mean; What defines a fish, a rock, a weak tight player? Any help in this would be appreciated. |

Re: Classifications
Finally I know the answer and can help somebody!
fish: bad player, Plays too many hands and isn't agressive. For example a fish might see >30% of the flops and rarely raise. rock: tight player player that plays few hands. Often unagressive. weak tight player: player that plays few hands but isn't agressive. Agressive: raises or check raises a lot. |

Re: Classifications
Along these lines...
What is the 'bozo' called that is just flat BAD? Raises and reraises preflop with any suited cards, caps at the river with bottom pair when A's/K's/Q's are on the board....etc? Is that a maniac? or a LAG? I consider a maniac someone who bets crazily but at least has enough sense to know when enough is enough. Just curious. |
