I considered this, but believed that 78s was outside of his PF calling range.

I would probably still call because I cannot lay down a set when a gut shot draw hits.

You dont see 78s playing this way? I think it makes more sense than a TAG with QK calling the flop on a gut shot draw. It also fits the preflop limp. Or maybe you thought it too and just missed it in the post and I'm being a nit to a nit

Does a 15/5 play 78 OOP at full ring? I don't know, I assumed no in my post, but I have been fully indoctrinated into 6-max so I could be overlooking the obvious (as I am prone to do )

I expect to see a small SC limped here quite a bit from 15/5 players. What hands do you think make up the 10% they do limp? If they arent limping SC's here then I'm putting them on a lot of hands I shouldn't.

Anyone fancy trawling their PT database to see? My own estimates for 15% are roughly All pairs, AK, AQ any position, AJ, KQ, Suited Broadway, Axs, SCs from MP, Offsuit Broadway in back only.

If villain has those stats and does play 78, does he raise that flop or call until he hits?

I would guess that this range is about VP$P of 20-25. I am apprx. 15% and don't call PF in full ring this liberally.

I would think that he raises, or leads the flop with an OESD. He is aggressive postflop.
