Interesting PokerShare correspondence (LC)

Ever since I was banned at PokerShare for being from NA, I have sent repeated emails to ultimate bet and pokershare to find out whether they plan on giving the profit share to the players that have been banned. Most of my emails have gone unnoticed, or have been forwarded to the person most qualified to help. Anyway, this evening, I received an email from UB to check on the status of a purchase I made using the UB points I earned while playing at PokerShare. I sent the following and received the reply.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for the book. Unfortunately, I am no longer
allowed at your tables for I am a North American
player. By the way, could you please let me know
whether or not I will be getting any bonus from the
40% profit sharing bonus at Pokershare?

Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting us.

You will be paid as per the usual guidelines and timeframe.

An interesting twist, I think. I was under the impression that the 40% profit share money was long gone as far as we were concerned. Perhaps not.

Just because they banned NA players doesn't mean all the profit they had accumulated vanished.

But I would be surprised if it covered all of the startup costs involved. The advertising, licensing, staffing, furnishings as well as all of the Neteller fees involved in deposits and cashouts as well as mailing all of those checks will be a hard startup cost to overcome with 90%+ of their player base gone.

I guess only time will tell.

They were supposed to seed the 1st dividend with $1 million, regardless of profits.

Oh I did not know this, I wonder if they still plan on it. UB should have to seed it now.

You've got a point there. How long had they been operating before the NA player ban?

All I know is, if I were that Max Wright dude, I'd be looking into hiring some people to get revenge on UB for taking away my revenue.

Max (Pokermanager@pokershare.com) has been fairly quiet about the whole thing, and took the pokershare forums down; which likely means that they are still negotiating with UB.

The most nefarious way to punish a poker room, would be for you and 50,000 of your closest friends to open accounts and make repeated deposits and withdrawals via neteller.

Have you seen what people were writing in those forums?

The forums needed to close because PokerShare's remaining customers and potential new customers were getting an eyeful.

PokerShare still needs to present itself and the Excapsa network as a good place to play.
